QuicShop uses Razorpay to accept payments, so your customers can pay the way India actually pays — UPI, cards, UPI QR, and Cash on Delivery. This guide walks you through connecting your account and going live.
How payments work in QuicShop
When a buyer checks out, QuicShop hands the payment to Razorpay, then waits for a confirmation signal called a webhook. The moment Razorpay confirms the payment succeeded, the order is marked Paid and moves into your fulfilment queue automatically — you never have to reconcile payments by hand.
Connect your Razorpay account
- Go to Settings → Payments in the Seller Console.
- Click Connect Razorpay. You’ll be taken to Razorpay to log in, or to create a new account.
- Approve the connection. QuicShop stores your keys securely and sets up the order-confirmation webhook for you.
- If your Razorpay account is new, finish KYC so you can accept live payments and receive settlements.
Test mode first. Razorpay starts in test mode so you can try checkout safely. Switch to live mode once KYC is approved.
Choose your payment methods
Under Settings → Payments → Methods, switch on what you want to offer:
- UPI — GPay, PhonePe, Paytm and any UPI app
- Cards — debit and credit
- UPI QR — scan to pay
- Cash on Delivery — see the next section
Set up Cash on Delivery
COD is still huge across India, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Turn it on, but add rules so it stays profitable:
- Limit COD to serviceable pincodes.
- Set a minimum and maximum order value for COD.
- Optionally add a small COD handling fee.
Test a payment
- Visit your storefront and add a product to the cart.
- Use Razorpay’s test UPI ID or test card at checkout.
- Within seconds the order should appear as Paid in Orders — that confirms the webhook is working.
Frequently asked
Why is my order stuck on "Payment pending"?
This usually means the confirmation webhook didn't reach QuicShop. Disconnect and reconnect Razorpay from Settings → Payments to re-register the webhook, then test again.
Why aren't live payments working?
Confirm your Razorpay KYC is approved and the account is switched from test mode to live mode.
