Connect a custom domain to your store

5 min read Updated 14 Jun 2026 SSL included

Your store can run on your own domain — like rangethnic.in — instead of a QuicShop subdomain. You add the domain in QuicShop, point a couple of DNS records to it, and SSL is issued for you.

Add your domain in QuicShop

  1. Go to Storefront → Domain.
  2. Type your domain (for example yourbrand.in) and click Connect.
  3. QuicShop displays the exact DNS records to add at your registrar. Keep this tab open.

Update your DNS records

Log in to your domain registrar, open DNS management, and add the records QuicShop gave you. They’ll typically look like this:

  • An A record for your root domain (@) pointing to QuicShop’s IP.
  • A CNAME record for www pointing to your QuicShop store address.

Use the exact values from your dashboard. The records above are examples — always copy the precise values QuicShop shows for your store.

Wait for verification & SSL

DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to spread (propagation). QuicShop checks automatically and, once it sees the records, issues an SSL certificate so your store loads securely on https://. You don’t need to do anything for SSL.

Set as primary domain

Once verified, set your custom domain as the primary one. Visitors to your old QuicShop subdomain are redirected to it, so you keep any links and SEO you’ve already built.

Frequently asked

My domain still shows "Pending" — what's wrong?

Double-check the records match your dashboard exactly, with no extra spaces, and that your registrar didn't append the domain to the value. Then wait for DNS propagation and re-check.

Can I launch without a custom domain?

Yes. Start on a free QuicShop subdomain and connect your own domain whenever you're ready — nothing else needs to change.
