How GST invoices are generated automatically

You don’t need a separate invoicing app. Once your GST details are set, QuicShop creates a GST-compliant invoice for every order on its own — with the right HSN codes and tax split — and shares it with your customer.

When invoices are created

An invoice is generated automatically the moment an order is confirmed:

  • Prepaid orders — when Razorpay confirms payment.
  • COD orders — when the order is placed and accepted.

Each invoice is a ready-to-share PDF with a sequential invoice number.

What’s on the invoice

Every invoice includes the fields a GST invoice legally needs:

  • Your business name, address and GSTIN
  • Buyer details and the place of supply
  • Each line item with its HSN code, quantity and rate
  • The correct tax split — CGST + SGST for in-state sales, IGST for inter-state

Set your GST details

  1. Add your GSTIN & PAN — go to Settings → Business and enter them once.
  2. Set default tax preferences — choose whether product prices are GST-inclusive or exclusive.
  3. Assign HSN & GST rates — on each product, set the HSN code and rate.

Download & share invoices

Open any order under Orders and use Download invoice to get the PDF. Customers also receive their invoice automatically with their order updates.

Input tax credit on your subscription

Because QuicShop bills you with GST, registered sellers can claim input tax credit on the subscription itself. Add your GSTIN under Settings → Billing so it appears on your QuicShop invoices.

Do I need a GSTIN to launch?

No. You can sell without a GSTIN and add it later. Once added, invoices switch to the GST-compliant format automatically.

How is the CGST/SGST/IGST split decided?

QuicShop compares your business state with the buyer's place of supply. Same state means CGST + SGST; a different state means IGST. You don't configure this per order.
