Careers
We build QuicShop — commerce software for Indian sellers, made in Bengaluru. The team is small, so what you ship reaches sellers in days, not quarters.
How we work
- Small team, wide scope. You own problems end to end, not tickets.
- We build for sellers running real businesses on WhatsApp, Instagram and their own store — so we talk to them often.
- India-first is a product constraint, not a slogan: GST, UPI, COD and Shiprocket shape what we build.
Open roles
Quality Engineer
Sellers run their livelihood on QuicShop. When an order fails to place or a GST invoice comes out wrong, someone's business is affected that day — not at the next release. We want someone whose job is to find those problems before sellers do.
This is an early-career role. You do not need years of QA behind you, and you will not be handed a finished process to follow — you will help build one, with support.
What you would do
- Test QuicShop across its three surfaces — the seller app, the seller console and the buyer storefront — and find where they disagree with each other.
- Write and maintain test cases for the flows that hurt most when they break: checkout, payments, GST invoicing, inventory and shipping.
- Reproduce and file bugs precisely enough that an engineer can fix them without coming back to ask you what you meant.
- Test on the devices and networks Indian sellers actually use, not just a fast laptop on office wifi.
- Grow into automating the checks that are wasteful to repeat by hand.
What we look for
- You are careful. You notice the off-by-one, the missing rupee, the state that only breaks on the second attempt.
- You can write clearly. A good bug report is mostly writing.
- You are stubborn about reproducing something before calling it flaky.
- You are comfortable reading a bit of code and using browser dev tools, or willing to get there quickly.
- Any exposure to test automation is a bonus, not a requirement. We would rather have judgement and train the tooling.
Practicalities
- Full-time, based in Bengaluru, working with the team in person.
- Compensation is discussed openly at the first conversation, before you invest time in a process.
- No take-home assignment that runs to days. We will look at a real bug together instead.
